Spring 2021 STATE ACT Student Enrollment Verification**Deadline** is January 22

ACT Student Enrollment Verification**Deadline**

The deadline to complete the verification of student enrollment is Jan. 22. Using KDE supplied student data, ACT has created student records in PearsonAccessnext (PAN). Test Coordinators must verify student counts and make any updates, including adding new students, in PAN. Directions for verifying enrollment counts are in the PAN User Guide.

If a student is enrolling or unenrolling from school before the test administration, submit a request for ACT staff to complete the request to enroll or unenroll for the school. Refer to “Submit a Request to Enroll or Unenroll an Examinee” in the PAN User Guide for the ACT. Please note that students entered in PAN after Jan. 22 will not receive pre-printed barcode labels in their initial shipment.

URGENT: ACT Accomodations must be entered by JANUARY 8 for all Juniors and Sophomores testing this Spring 2021

ACT: Request Accommodations and Supports - Reminder

As a reminder, ACT’s Test Accessibility and Accommodations (TAA) system has migrated to success.act.org. Please ensure testing staff has access to the TAA system on the new website. If the testing staff has not yet requested accommodations and supports, ACT and KDE highly recommend that this activity be completed as soon as possible.

The published deadline to request accommodations and supports for the upcoming ACT Spring 2021 State administration is Jan. 15; however, ACT’s review and approval process typically takes multiple business days. Work to complete this activity now to ensure testing staff has the opportunity to provide any additional information ACT may require for approval. If this critical task was not completed by Dec. 18, it is crucial to complete this task by Friday, Jan. 8. Please share this information with school testing staff to ensure they are aware of the process for requesting accommodations and supports.

Resources to assist in requesting accommodations and support include Information about requesting accommodations and/or EL supportsHow to create an account and request accommodations through TAA (training tutorial), and On-demand accommodations training. Additional resources can be found under stage 3 of the ACT hosted state testing website.
