K-PREP AND ALTERNATE K-PREP INDIVIDUAL STUDENT REPORTS (ISRs) AVAILABLE

Pearson Individual Student Reports (ISRs) will be available in PearsonAccessnext on September  26 at 1:01 a.m. ET. ISRs provide specific information about student performance on the K-PREP and Alternate K-PREP tests (grades 3-8 and 11). The ISR shows individual student test scores by grade and tested content, and performance levels (novice, apprentice, proficient, distinguished). The ISR also provides information for teachers and parents to support student learning.

Printed K-PREP and Alternate K-PREP Individual Student Reports will arrive in districts during the week of October 1. Please contact the Office of Assessment and Accountability (OAA) if the reports have not arrived by October 5.

ALTERNATE K-PREP TRANSITION ATTAINMENT RECORD (TAR) TRAINING/QUIZ

The online training and quiz for the Transition Attainment Record (TAR) is now available. The TAR is an assessment checklist completed by the Admissions Release Committee (ARC) or transition committee required for students in grades 10 and 11. The TAR aligns with the state mandated high school college entrance exam at grades 10 and 11.The TAR can also be provided to any grade 12 or eligible grade 14 students who have not met the required benchmarks of reading (19), mathematics (16) and science (16).  The TAR training is located on the Alternate K-PREP Trainings page.

Recorded Online Training Video

The recorded online training video was recorded by Kevin O’Hair. The video may experience pauses or delays during the review. These delays may be based on the signal and strength of Internet connections and capabilities.

Access the TAR Document
Once the TAR quiz is completed with a passing score and has been submitted, return to the log in page of the Online Training System (OTS)--where quiz is accessed. Under Teacher Tools, click the link entitled Transition Attainment Record to download the document.
