ATTAINMENT TASK (AT) ADMINISTRATION RESOURCE PROVIDED
The first Alternate K-PREP Testing Window for the 2018-2019 school year begins on Monday, November 5. Jaci Norman and Karen Guettler have provided the video below as a resource to assist in the administration of the Attainment Tasks. Changes to the administration new this year are that there will only be three answer choices instead of four. Also, you will want to check out the example provided in the video as it displays how you may administer the assessments as they are no longer printed in landscape orientation, but now in portrait to accommodate the three answer choice items displayed on the page.
FIRST ALTERNATE K-PREP TESTING WINDOW ADMINISTRATION BEGINS MONDAY (NOVEMBER 5)
The first Alternate K-PREP testing window to administer Attainment Tasks (AT) will begin Monday, November 5. This will be the first of two windows set to assess content standards for reading, mathematics, science, social studies, and writing. No tasks may be administered before Monday, November 5.
Instruction may continue into the testing window as long as the content provided is not derived from the actual Attainment Tasks being administered. Once the task administration begins, all instruction for that standard should cease until after the task administration has been completed. The first testing window will end December 14.
STUDENT REGISTRATION DATABASE (SRD) OPENS FOR SCORE ENTRY MONDAY (NOVEMBER 5)
Teachers who have received notification about the SRD opening November 5 will be able to access the system for score entry. No teachers will have access to the SRD before November 5. Anyone denied access to the SRD on or after November 5 should contact their DAC, DoSE or District Alternate Assessment representative to request activation into the system. Activation to enter scores must be completed at the district level. For teachers who have received access to the SRD, a PowerPoint has been provided with details about working in the system.
